- Go to Events on the left hand side
- For each event enter a title, description and a featured image
- If you have further images you can upload them to the gallery
- Enter the cost in the cost field, if free write in Free
- If you can book the event online on another website such as Eventbrite paste in the url into the Booking link field. This will create a button on the front end which says “Book your place now”. If this field is left empty then no button will appear.
- You have more options in the Event Details panel – enter a start date and end date, if it’s a one day event enter the same date for both
- Enter the start and end time, or if it’s an all day event tick ‘All day’
- You can then select whether the event is repeating or give it custom dates
- Enter the venue by clicking the plus sign to add a new one or select from the drop down list if you have already added this venue before. (NB the map is not shown on the front end)
- On the right hand side panel tick the type of event it is, you can select more than one but try not to tick more than 3
- You can add more types but again do not add too many as it becomes less useful for the user.
