May Half-Term Activities for Children

What was it like for children living in Biggin Hill during the Second World War? Join us over the half-term week to play 1940s-style games, try our plane spotting activity and make your own paper Spitfire as we look into what life was like for youngsters living under the shadow of war. In addition, come and look at our object handling collection with items relating to civilian life on the home front.

Crafts and games suitable for all ages, object handling for ages seven and upwards. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Special talk by volunteer John Preedy on Wednesday May 29th at 11:30 about his model plane collection.

Activities run from 11am to 3pm over the half -term week, starting on Saturday 25th May and running until Sunday June 2nd, including Bank Holiday Monday but excluding Tuesday. All activities are free with the price of a ticket.
