Volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience for our museum visitors. There are lots of different ways you can support our museum, ensuring a world-class welcome through a range of activities. Volunteer roles include:
- Welcomer: Offering a friendly welcome to all visitors at the museum reception desk
- Host: Being on hand to engage with visitors in the museum and chapel
- Presenter: Delivering short talks, object handling sessions, museum tours and supporting school visits
- Café Host: Crafting Barista style coffee (training provided), serving customers food and drink, and creating a welcoming and pleasant environment
There are also ad hoc opportunities for those interested in working with the museum collection or undertaking research.
