Family Crafts: Make an Evacuee’s suitcase
Family Craft Session: Many children were separated from their families during the Second World War when they were evacuated from the cities and towns to the countryside where it was thought they’d be safer. What would you take with you if it happened to you? Tell us what you’d pack and make your own model evacuee suitcase at this family craft activity. Sessions run between 11am and 12 noon, 12:30pm and 1:30pm and 2pm until 3pm. Free with the price of a museum ticket. Email email@example.com to reserve a space.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
